What is Deck Studio?Deck Studio is an easy-to-use desktop application designed to give players the ultimate tool for creating, testing, and analyzing their decks. Running strong for over a year now, Deck Studio is thrilling its users with the final release of this exciting new resource.
This TCG utility is unique, in that it allows users to customize their deck lists in a way no other program offers. The ability to import the full content of your deck into your clipboard makes it the natural compliment for forum users. Analyzing tools let you catch those minor details that often slip by unnoticed and embarrass you later. And the randomization tools let you test draw your deck, long before you go through the expense and effort of putting a real one together. The special option that let's you import your deck to the popular online dueling application, YVD, shows that Deck Studio is not in competition with the existing software developers, but in support of them. Plus, it's just a nice feature to have.
Here are some of the features of Deck Studio:
Complete Tournament Card Registry: Deck Studio uses the same card registry as RONIN, so you know you will have practically every card to use and your cards will be tournament legal (minus restrictions). The library is synchronized so that updating the registry in one of these programs will automatically update the other.
Quality Card Images: High quality card scans add to the experience by allowing you to see what card you need to purchase or to just admire the artwork of the game.
Extensive Access to Card Registry - Find the cards by set release (Power of the Duelist, Shonen Jump Championship Series, etc.), by card name (Inferno Hammer), or by using the in depth card finder.
Deck Breakdown: See how many Quick-Play spell cards are in your deck. Check to see how many monsters are running less than 1500 ATK to see if another searcher monster is warranted. Each section of the deck is broken down into detail for analysis.
Card Validation: Validate your deck against the current Advanced and Traditional Formats.
Card Simulation: See what your opening hand will look like. See what cards you will draw after that. The simulation tool provides a quick way to see how your deck will draw out.
Print Deck: Once your deck is ready for the tournament, print it out. No need to take extra time going through your cards again.
Export: Export your deck to the clipboard for posting in your local forum, or even export to YVD for instant game play.
Update Tool: Easily update the Tournament Card Registry and Image Library with the latest sets of cards. Perform manual updates on computers without Internet access.
What Deck Studio is NOT:
Deck Studio is NOT a netdecking tool. It will NEVER tell you what deck you should build, nor can you click a button and have a deck built for you.
Deck Studio is NOT an online dueling program. It will help you get the cards you need for your deck, but you need to use another source for online dueling.
